About

Celebrate the grassroots music venue movement at this 10th anniversary edition event!

The 10th Anniversary edition of Venues Day will celebrate the Grassroots Music Venue movement built since 2014. As the largest gathering of people who run GMVs in the world, the event will offer an opportunity to reflect on progress made in the UK and challenges still to face. In this session, you will focus on the importance of artists at the centre of the sector as that is what everything GMVs do is ultimately for: to inspire artists, nurture them, connect them with audiences and offer a safe space for experimentation and new work. As ever, Venues Day will offer essential networking opportunities, the chance to gather information and discuss important issues.
