A seasonal art workshop exploring the mindful craft of pressed flowers, where you’ll learn to preserve blooms and create your own pressed flower artwo

About

Unleash your creativity and explore the beauty of nature fused with modern art in the Resin Flowers Workshop at The Rivershop.

In this hands-on session, you'll learn how to create a unique wooden trinket tray using real flowers and resin. Whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced crafter, this workshop offers a fun and inspiring experience that will leave you with a beautiful handmade piece to keep or gift.

You'll be introduced to the basics of resin art, including types of resin, safety tips, and essential techniques like measuring, mixing, and curing. The focus will be on using dried flowers, where you'll learn how to select, preserve, and creatively arrange them to produce elegant, long-lasting designs.

Your main project will be crafting a wooden trinket tray, but for those who want to take it further, there's an option to upgrade to a larger tray or wall art.

This is the perfect chance to learn a new skill, express your artistic side, and make something truly personal.

Taught by guest teacher from Botanica & Field.
