Anatolian Strings and Stories with the launch of his new album

About

London-based bağlama (saz) artist Ozan Baysal presents an intimate solo concert featuring music from his debut album Tel ve Ten (Skin and Strings) released by ARC Music in 2025. Drawing on the rich heritage of Anatolian folk traditions, Baysal reimagines timeless melodies through improvisation and contemporary acoustic textures. His performance combines expressive double-neck bağlama playing with occasional traditional vocals, creating a deeply meditative and soulful soundscape. Tel ve Ten received 4-star reviews in Songlines and RNR Magazine and was featured in World Music Central.

* This concert in Knight Gallery will mark the London presentation of Baysal’s album, offering audiences an evocative journey through the strings and stories of Anatolia.
