MADELEINE is an emerging player in the nu-jazz and UK soul scene creating a sound world to get lost in

About

MADELEINE is a singer, songwriter and producer who found her musical feet in London at The BRIT School and Goldsmiths, and is now being championed by the likes of Jazz FM and BBC Introducing as the UK’s next great voice of neo-soul.

Influenced by the progressive electronics of Flying Lotus and songwriters like Lianne La Havas and Stevie Wonder, MADELEINE's music is also inspired by touring the world as the keyboard player for established artists like Arlo Parks and Poppy Ajudha. The influences of those travels can be heard across her new EP Sun Daughter, which provides snapshots of the sonics of late night drives across the USA set against naturalistic imagery and soulful, jazz-tinged songwriting.

This is the perfect time to catch her live. Expect expansive synth sounds, rich harmony and soaring vocal arrangements, creating a compelling sound world you can lose yourself in.

Band line-up:
MADELEINE - keys and vocals
John Jones - bass
Jack Robson - drums

Duration: 1 hour 55 minutes

* Suitable for ages 16+
