A fun-filled craft making experience at Charlton House!

About

A fun-filled craft making experience at Charlton House!

Charlton House is more than bricks and timber, it’s been shaped by the people who’ve lived, worked, and cared for it for over 400 years. The People’s Gallery Exhibition celebrates these individuals through costumes, photographs, objects, and stories.

Come and have a look around the exhibition and be inspired by what you see to craft your own items to take home with you!

You can craft:

  • A Jacobean paper ruff
  • A painted clay bowl
  • Biscuit icing Victorian jewellery style
  • A corgi dog hand puppet

* Suitable for ages 5-12

Need a break? The brand new quiet/sensory room will be open in another part of the house for anyone needing a calm space.
