Hair We Go Again by Xanandu Sheriff
Hair We Go Again is a one-woman sketch show that blends cabaret, movement, storytelling, and comedy. This performance explores the societal impact of Black hair as a beauty standard and how Eurocentric ideals influence identity and self-perception. Drawing on personal testimony, historical context, and pop culture references, this satirical production invites audiences to engage with humour, thought-provoking narratives, and dynamic performance. Trigger warning: Sexy Black woman.
* Following this performance will be a Q&A with both Artists.
