About
The Burns Night Ceilidh returns to Woolwich Works - dance off your January blues with this annual Scottish knees-up! Celebrate the life of Scotland's National Poet - Robert Burns - with a night of music, dance, and whiskey-filled fun.
Never heard of a ceilidh (pronounced kay-lee)? Then you’re in safe hands with the Wraggle-Taggle team, one of the most popular, versatile and traditional ceilidh bands in town. You can expect to dance to traditional folk music, guided by a caller who explains each dance and gives you the rundown.
Absolute beginners are welcome, as well as those that know the moves - and it's ideal for singles as much as groups of friends, families and couples. Expect a lively and joyful evening - comfy dancing shoes a must. Promising you a kilt-raising good time…. and a bar!
Burns Night Ceilidh is brought to you by the Wraggle Taggle Ceilidh Band.
