a creative and reflective Photography Zine-Making Workshop led by documentary photographer, videographer, and visual storyteller Zula Rabikowska

About

A creative and reflective Photography Zine-Making Workshop led by documentary photographer, videographer, and visual storyteller Zula Rabikowska.

šŸ‘ This is a great opportunity to learn how to turn existing photography projects into a publication that will benefit your own practice and showcase your values, perspectives, and lived experiences!

āœØšŸ’ Zula will share visual prompts and tips & tricks for zine-making as a way to navigate and reflect on powerful global themes of community, displacement, division, and belonging.

šŸ“ You’ll then work with up-cycled photographic images from our collection and a variety of craft materials (scissors, glue sticks, card boards, coloured pens, tracing & crepe paper, vibrant stickers & tapes, and more), to express your creativity!

šŸ«¶šŸ¾šŸŒ This workshop coincides with Refugee Week 2025 with the theme of “Community as a Superpower”, which invites us to explore the strength found in connection, collaboration, and care.

🄤 Your ticket includes one complimentary organic soft drink sponsored by Karma Drinks.

šŸ“ø All ticket profits go directly towards supporting The Photography Foundation’s charitable mission and helping us continue to invite professional photographers to spotlight important topics through photography and education.
