This Lunar New Year, let Greenwich Peninsula be your gateway to a vibrant celebration of East and Southeast Culture

About

Lunar New Year arrives on the Peninsula this February as we celebrate Chinese New Year - a vibrant festival filled with colour, culture and creativity.

Expect traditional Dragon and Lion performances bringing good fortune and energy to the year ahead, alongside lantern installations and hands-on workshops for all ages.

At Firepit Art Gallery & Studio, explore a Henan heritage exhibition celebrating craft and culture from one of China’s most historic regions.

Add to that delicious street food and live DJs setting the soundtrack for the day, and you have an experience full of flavour and discovery.

It’s a time to come together, share traditions and welcome the Lunar New Year surrounded by creativity, culture and community spirit.
