A talk sessuib about mudlarking finds which evoke the voices and memories of people who once worked or lived in Greenwich

About

“To run down the Thames is to run one’s hand over the pages in the book of England from end to end” – said H.G. Wells in his novel, Tono Bungay. With this in mind, mudlark Nicola White will give a talk which takes you on a virtual journey to the pages of the Thames of South East London where her mudlarking finds evoke the voices and memories of people who once worked or lived there. With a beautiful collection of Thames finds, Nicola brings their stories alive.
