Five-day arts festival featuring music, theatre, dance, comedy and children’s activities

About

Festival 14 is returning to Canary Wharf this summer!

The event will be taking place across Canary Wharf's parks, plazas and open spaces, Festival14 will see Canary Wharf burst to life with a packed programme spanning music, theatre, dance, comedy and children’s activities.

Canada Square Park will once again host the Main Stage with a fantastic programme of FREE music from headline acts including Soul II Soul, Craig Charles, Norman Jay, Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Orchestra, Wayne Snow and Nubiyan Twist.

Away from the action on the Main Stage, there will be several other areas across the festival site to visit and soak up some culture. Westferry Circus will be transformed into an intimate outdoor theatre, featuring everything from Shakespeare to a Family Rave.

You’ll be able to watch theatre curated by The Space or take part in children’s workshops from A Line Art in Crossrail Place Roof Garden and, if you fancy some down time, head to Jubilee Park, the perfect place to chill out on the beanbags and listen to some live music from some of Busk in London’s best buskers.

Popping up next to Minigolf by Craig & Karl on Montgomery Square will be the brand-new comedy tent. This tent will host some of the UK’s top comedians, featuring upcoming talent alongside some familiar faces from TV.

The Fandangoe Kid will be returning with a new project ‘The Fandangoe Mini Disco’, a colourful disco pod hosting a series of talks and workshops curated by The Loss Project. Then if you need to refuel, there will also be a street food market running daily, offering a range of delicious dishes from around the world. You can also book in to one of the many bars, restaurants, and cafes, some of which will be running special offers over the festival weekend.

* Full programme to be announced in June.
