The 13th London Pantomime Horse Race - TV/Movie Icons edition

About

Following last December's hugely successful Rock & Pop Icons edition, the world-famous madcap London Pantomime Horse Race returns for its 13th edition with a spectacular new theme: TV & Movie Icons.

On Sunday 13th December 2026, more than 20 teams will race through the historic streets of Greenwich in elaborate pantomime horse costumes inspired by some of the most iconic characters from film and television. Hundreds of spectators are once again expected to enjoy one of London's most unique festive fundraising events.

Several exciting surprises are currently being planned, with further announcements to be made later this autumn.

Among the teams entering this year include Mare-Lyn Monroe, Dr Hoof, and Alan Parthorse, with competitors transforming themselves and their trusty steeds into imaginative tributes to legendary screen stars and unforgettable characters from the world of TV .

A highlight of the event is the popular "Back A Nag" fundraising challenge. In the months leading up to race day, teams compete to raise sponsorship and donations, with the highest fundraisers earning the best starting positions on the grid as well as special fundraising awards.
