About

Join artist Johanna Tagada Hoffbeck to learn the basics of natural dye on plant-based fabrics and explore tea and herbal infusion as dyes.

This workshop is directly inspired by the method employed in Johanna’s series of collaborative installations, 'Penser, Manger, Partager' ('To Think, To Eat, To Share', 2015 - present). It is an entry-level workshop, and no prior experience is required. This method is one that participants can repeat at home, with no additional material purchased other than what is to be found on most kitchen shelves.

* All materials and refreshments will be provided, however if you would like to dye a specific item from home do feel free to bring it along.
