This inclusive class is accessible for both musicians and non-musicians to learn about composition

About

Ever wanted to learn more about composition and songwriting? This inclusive class is accessible for both musicians and non-musicians to learn about composition: working together to compose, arrange and write lyrics for your own original tune.

Working with a professional musician, band player and educator, musicians and lyricists will have a lovely opportunity to work and play together, covering musicianship, a little theory, how to groove together and respond and play to support the overall sound as opposed to isolated, solo practice. Taking inspiration from whatever is happening in the community, the scope and stories of myths and legends, or whatever inspires us, the aim will be to "learn to create the music YOU love". If you play an instrument please bring it with you on the day!

* This is a drop off class.
