This October half term, the Queen's House will be centred around the theme of myths and legends.

Programme:
Character Encounters (19th and 26th October)
Meet historical characters connected to the Queen's House and take part in exciting performances that bring the past to life.

Craft Workshop: Discover the legend of Mami Wata (28th October)
Create your own water spirit shadow puppet based on the West African legend of Mami Wata and swim and play in the shadows of the deep.

Craft Workshop: Kite Making (30th October)
For centuries, the mythical Jingwei bird has been trying to fill the East China Sea with sticks and stones, and she needs your help! 
Make your own mythical spirit to help her quest to build new lands and communities in the sea.

Family Trails [Available every day]
Pick up your own family trail or kit to help you explore the Queen's House galleries, discover objects that are hundreds of years old, and learn how to protect them.

* All events are FREE and suitable for all ages and abilities.
