Join Queen's House for a night of chamber music performed by students from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance

About

Enjoy a night of serene summer sounds, performed by Canticum Chamber Choir.

For more than 30 years, the London-based choral ensemble has enchanted audiences with its versatility and musicality. Its repertoire spans Renaissance polyphony and jazz classics to contemporary works and new commissions.

Directed by Mark Forkgen, the choir has performed at London’s leading concert venues, including the Royal Festival Hall, the Barbican, St John’s Smith Square and St Martin-in-the-Fields.

Come and join us in the magnificent setting of the Great Hall for a programme of songs inspired by midsummer and the theme "a walk with nature". Highlights include Eric Whitacre's "Water Night", Vaughan Williams's "The Turtle Dove" and the traditional song "Sumer Is Icumen In".
