Soar above the clouds in a blissful Tibetan singing bowl sound-healing experience, enriched by live classical piano and violin. Immerse yourself in deep listening, rest, and reflection within the extraordinary surroundings of the Painted Hall.

Programme:

Deep C Resonance with Naomi Watts (13th and 14th March)
Feel the resonance in the stunning surroundings of the baroque Painted Hall as cellist Naomi Watts guides you through a deeply relaxing and uplifting sound healing and lie-down classical concert experience. With Bach cello suites to put a smile on your face and joy in your heart.

The simplicity of the deep C note on her cello is like a grounding call to reconnect. You’ll feel rooted and relaxed, ready to absorb the beautiful sounds of Tibetan bowls and gongs, followed by uplifting and joyous Bach.  This experience also features Naomi’s own lopping piece, which will gentle guide you into a rhythmic, trance-like state of calm and restoration.

Angels (11th and 12th June)
A Lie Down and Listen experience combining the deep resonances of ancient sound healing instruments and rich bass voices with ethereal baroque masterpieces on violin, reflecting the otherworldly Painted Hall ceiling.

At the heart of this experience are Bieber’s Passacaglia and Marcus Paus’ Wounded Angel, inspired by the striking imagery of Hugo Simberg.

You will leave with a sense of awe and spiritual connection, while feeling deeply grounded.

Theme to be confirmed (18th September)
This event is part of the wider wellbeing retreat project.

Heavenly Voices (9th and 10th October)
The Choir of St Luke's, conducted by Jeremy Summerly
Feel a deep sense of peace as you lie down and listen to heavenly voices in the Painted Hall. Fully immersed and surrounded by the serene choral works of Arvo Part, Meredith Monk and Eric Whitacre, this lie-down concert invites you to feel as though you are floating among angels.

Divine Love Piano (11th and 12th December)
Close the year by opening your heart to deep connection with Divine Love. Pianist and founder Christina McMaster guides you through a deep meditation, followed by Tibetan bowl sound healing and a lie-down classical piano concert interwoven with poetry and vocals.
