Jazz Band Workshop is an exciting opportunity for students to learn, play and perform jazz as part of a group. In a friendly and welcoming setting, it is a great chance to experience group music making, whilst learning key musical skills including improvising, accompanying, jazz theory, teamwork and performance skills. The workshop offers students of Grade 5 and above or equivalent level an opportunity to play with a variety of other instruments including piano, vocals, double bass or electric bass, drums, saxophone, trumpet, clarinet, violin and guitar. In this session, you will be exploring and learning the music of Miles Davis to Oscar Peterson to Billie Holiday and more, in an informative, engaging and fun way. The Jazz Band Workshop aims to connect people curious and passionate, teach new skills and create music together!
