Hidden Spaces Tour at St Alfege Church, Galleries & Crypt

About

Join in for a tour of the hidden spaces at St Alfege Church in Greenwich

As part of the Heart of Greenwich Place and People Project, you are invited to join a tour of the hidden spaces of the beautiful church of St Alfege. Descend into the crypt area, revealing the many stories of the people who have played their part in the history of Greenwich. Visit the galleries of the church for incredible views of the fine interiors and hear more stories about the amazing cast of characters who worked and worshipped in this space.

Please note that accessibility to both areas requires climbing steep stairs and involves some bending.

Caution around COVID-19 has led to keeping the number of attendees on the tour to a maximum of 11. This allows us to enjoy the experience in the crypt and galleries whilst still maintaining space around us.
