Greenwich Comedy Festival 2023

About

Greenwich Comedy Festival returns to the grounds of the iconic National Maritime Museum with a stunning series of open-air shows starring the absolute best comedians of the moment.

Greenwich Comedy Festival, London’s biggest comedy spectacular, returns to the National Maritime Museum with stand-up’s finest live in the Big Top plus craft beers and street eats and more.

This year’s magnificent 15th anniversary edition stars one of Britain’s best loved comedy stars, the legendary JACK DEE plus Off Menu co-host ED GAMBLE, the mighty STEWART LEE, Queen of ventriloquism NINA CONTI, the splendidly manic RUSSELL KANE, Taskmaster’s FERN BRADY and Netflix star PHIL WANG who’ll be raising the roof.

Each show bursts with brilliance with festival favourites such as cult comic/poet TIM KEY, lo-fi hero DAVID O’DOHERTY, Mash Report host RACHEL PARRIS, Father Ted star ARDAL O’HANLON and the sublime SOPHIE DUKER.

Dont miss viral sensation TROY HAWKE and Edinburgh Comedy Award winner SAM CAMPBELL lighting up the night alongside fast-rising talents like DANIEL FOXX, DAN TIERNAN, SIKISA, MORGAN REES plus many more!

The capital’s largest and longest running comedy extravaganza has been presenting critically-lauded line-ups since it first began back in 2009. Across five nights and weekend afternoons a compilation of the absolute best names in comedy combine with a top selection at the bars plus food from the leading lights of the local scene, all set against the illustrious backdrop of the Queen's House and Royal Greenwich.

The festival’s creators, Greenwich-raised sibling team Will Briggs and Cass Randolph, can't wait to get back to Greenwich.
