An exploration of status in opera and musical theatre

About

Helen Chenaf, Hilary Dolamore, Mairéad Sheerin and Richard Black perform Upstairs, Downstairs - an exploration of status in opera and musical theatre. Who had more fun - the servants or their masters? Spanning over 300 years of high status-low status characters on the stage, including music from 'The Marriage of Figaro', 'La Boheme', 'My Fair Lady' and more.

All ages are welcome, including babies and children. Entry is free with no need to book and there is an optional retiring collection at the end - all donations go directly to the performers. These concerts are, quite understandably, very popular! Please arrive promptly to avoid disappointment - we may not be able to admit latecomers.

Running Time: approx. 45-60mins
