Design your own dried flower terrarium using our home-grown preserved blooms in a calm, beginner-friendly workshop

About

Hosted at the Admiral Hardy in Greenwich, this relaxed and creative terrarium workshop invites adults to slow down and explore the beauty of preserved botanicals. Led by guest tutor Botanica & Field, the terrarium workshop guides participants through the process of designing a dried flower arrangement beneath a delicate glass dome.

At the beginning of the terrarium workshop, guests are introduced to how the flowers are carefully grown, harvested and dried, many originating from a family farm in Suffolk. These preserved blooms retain their colour and structure, making them ideal for use in a lasting botanical arrangement.

Throughout the terrarium workshop, participants will learn how to layer materials, balance textures and compose a miniature landscape using dried flowers and foliage. Step-by-step guidance ensures that even complete beginners feel confident while creating their design.

All materials are provided, and by the end of the terrarium workshop each guest will leave with a unique glass-domed arrangement to display at home. Set in the welcoming surroundings of the Admiral Hardy, this terrarium workshop offers a calm, sociable and inspiring creative experience for anyone looking to try a hands-on terrarium workshop in Greenwich.
