Dried Flower Bauble Making Workshop

About

Celebrate the festive season with a creative dried flower bauble workshop at the welcoming Admiral Hardy. Hosted by Botanica & Field, this relaxed Christmas session invites guests to design elegant glass baubles using real flowers that have been grown, harvested, and carefully preserved by the hosts.

During this hands-on dried flower bauble making workshop, participants are introduced to the process of drying and preserving seasonal blooms such as statice and dahlias. These flowers are selected for their rich colour, delicate texture and ability to hold their beauty over time. Guests will also gain insight into how flowers are prepared for decorative use and why different drying methods affect colour and form.

With gentle step-by-step guidance, each participant will learn how to select a colour palette and carefully layer dried flowers inside clear glass baubles. By the end of the dried flower bauble making workshop, guests will have created a coordinated set of beautiful Christmas decorations, each one slightly unique.

All materials are provided, including dried flowers grown and preserved by Botanica and Field, clear glass baubles and velvet ribbon for finishing. This beginner-friendly dried flower bauble making workshop offers a calm, sociable and festive experience, perfect for enjoying with friends or as a creative seasonal treat.
