About
A relaxed and creative eco printing workshop taking place at The Admiral Hardy in Greenwich. This hands-on session invites beginners, nature lovers, and anyone curious about slow, sustainable making to explore the beautiful and unpredictable process of printing directly from flowers and foliage onto fabric.
Eco printing is a nature-led technique that captures the colour, shape, and texture of plants through direct contact with fabric. Rather than using inks or dyes, participants work with seasonal flowers and leaves, allowing the plants themselves to leave unique marks. The process celebrates experimentation, patience, and the quiet joy of working with natural materials, where no two results are ever the same.
During the workshop, guests are guided step by step through selecting suitable botanicals, arranging them on fabric, bundling their piece, and revealing the final print. All materials are provided, including natural fabrics and a curated selection of seasonal blooms.
* Suitable for complete beginners, the workshop offers a calm and supportive environment. Participants will leave with a finished eco-printed piece and the confidence to continue exploring the technique at home.
