Step into a world of folklore and wildlife in this hands on workshop!

About

Step into a world of folklore and wildlife in this hands on workshop! Inspired by legendary birds, mysterious cats, swift hares, and powerful bears from stories around the world, children will design and sculpt your own creature using foam craft techniques. Participants will build the body structure from foam before covering it with plaster and sand to create rich textures inspired by fur, feathers, and woodland surfaces. Along the way, they'll explore how animals appear in traditional tales, symbols, and folklore across different cultures. Perfect for curious makers and young storytellers, this workshop combines sculpture, imagination, and tactile making in a fun and creative environment.
