About

Where craftmanship meets creativity!
Learn, Master, Make

The Rivershop was born from a love of making and a desire to share that passion with others. Founded by Richard Wagner, an experienced craftsman, The Rivershop reflects his belief in the joy and satisfaction that comes from creating something with your own hands. Whether you’re a complete beginner, an aspiring hobbyist, or someone looking to refine your skills, we believe that everyone has the potential to craft beautiful, functional pieces.

This is where creativity flows and hands-on learning comes to life! Situated in the vibrant Thames Side Studios, we are dedicated to providing high-quality workshops in carpentry, epoxy resin, DIY, and bespoke experiences for individuals of all skill levels. The key mission at the Rivershop is simple yet profound: to offer every visitor the chance to explore the art of hands-on creation and to provide a nurturing space for fostering creativity.

The Rivershop offers a variety of workshops tailored to suit different interests and experience levels. The carpentry courses cover the fundamentals and beyond, allowing participants to build their confidence and capabilities. The epoxy resin courses offer an exciting opportunity to explore the beauty of resin art, including the popular resin river workshops that combine waney edge timber with stunning resin designs. Additionally, the DIY courses empower participants to tackle home improvement projects with newfound knowledge and skills.
