TCGC was born out of frustration. After years of living centrally, access to golf meant enduring occasional summer slogs through traffic to reach oversold suburban courses. Over time, technology evolved, offering a solution. At TCGC, they’ve created the environment they always wished for and are now thrilled to share it with like-minded golfers across South East London.

TCGC’s home in the Royal Arsenal is steeped in history. Once deliberately left off maps to avoid drawing attention, this “Secret City” played a pivotal role in protecting the country for hundreds of years. While the munitions factories and gun mills have long closed, their legacy lives on in the surrounding listed buildings. The clubhouse occupies the former East Turnery, where barrels for long-range guns were meticulously milled. TCGC is proud to be custodians of this storied location and looks forward to adding its own chapter to its history.
